The fact that Flash Thompson and Peter ended up being friends is so wholesome. Also, the Flash in TASM would look great as Agent Venom. They should bring him back and make an Agent Venom Movie set in the TASM universe.

Easily the best on screen interpretation of Flash Thompson. Always loved the character reading the comics. Me and him have a lot in common; the need to prove ourselves, struggles with alcoholism, idolizing Spider-Man... Happy to say I was never a bully, however.

This sweet little scene between Peter and Flash is my absolute hands down favorite part of this entire movie! 😊 I just love that Flash became a better person and him and Peter became friends. It’s so sweet and beautiful and the way the world should always be! I love that stuff! Perfection! ☺️👏🏻💕💞

To be fair with Captain Stacy telling Peter to leave Gwen out of this, I interpreted it as "Don't involve her in your Heroics so she's safe". He never specifically said to stay away from her entirely, Peter may have thought it was the only way she would be safe. At least that's how I see it.
