That line has always bugged me, LOL. You don't see many swamps in the Rocky Mountains. And, if there were any there wouldn't be toads in the swamps. Frogs, certainly, but not toads.
I loved the song and lots of Eddie Rabbitt's other songs, though, when I was working country radio.
