Sullivan is so good at not falling for simplifications that he cannot reasonably stand behind. As he said, no-one knows exactly if the war will continue for another year, but what we can do is make decisions depending on the specific developments of the situation.

Like every other weapon we've given Ukraine, the 250 F-16 Vipers and 260 A-10s are on their way to Ukraine now and will be in use in a month. After all, President Biden has said no...and we have 890+ F-35s in service now. Also past time to send another 700 M2 Bradleys (we have/had 2800 in storage and just ordered another 700 brand new M2A4s), 250 more Abrams tanks (we have 2300 M1's in storage), 142 Stryker MGS (already retired to Ukraine), More Paladins, (we have 950) ATACMS, 100 tons (1/4) of our 446, 000 Cluster munitions. It's time to take off our self-imposed gloves and give Ukraine whatever it needs to win. Ukraine has shown they can use whatever mix of NATO weapons we've sent them, and well. This war can be ended whenever our politicians decide it will? Time for us all to win.
