I love that this is isn't a standard vampire movie. They are mostly animals who live in caves and don't like sunlight. If the crosses are just the church being the church and don't help against the vampires it's pretty realistic. Aside from the human vampires and familiars.

Church: We have all remaining vampires in confined reservations where there are armed guards preventing their escape at all times there's no wild vampires, even though we never confirmed the death of the vampire queen herself.

Priest: Oh, then what's this? * tosses vampire head on ground* might wanna check the burning train outside the city as well as the closest reservation for the guard corpses.

Church: How dare you prove us wrong!? *surprised pikachu face *

Even though this film was made a while ago now it's still one of the best vampire films I've ever seen. It pisses me off that they won't make it into a franchise as this has so much potential to being like that of Underworld I want Priest and Priestess to fight against the Queen

7:28 Honestly he kind of has a point. The vampires seem like the underdogs of this movie, essentially living in gulags created by the clergy, who are oppressing not only the vampires but all the other humans as well.
