This was a dream moment for me. The first time in my life I ever purchased brand new a high-end radio. I have been blown away by this rig already.
Many may say “you should be based on the price!“
But I wanted a rig that had “Dual VC Tune,” because I love to DX. On the 101D it’s an option but on the MP it’s standard.
I had wanted to purchase the optional speaker as well, so the extra money went into getting another 100 watts I guess.
This rig has flat out blown me away. I have never said that about a rig. And this is the first radio I’ve ever put a video out on because of how it impressed me... after a 3000, a Kenwood 590SG, a Flex 6300 and an Icom 7300.
No transceiver I’ve ever used can receive faint signals like this one has. Highly recommended!
