Based on the video that I`ve watched, I learned that there are different types of decisions that are unstructured, structured, and semi-structured decision and how decision-making works. I also get to know how the business intelligence and business constituencies in an organization use the business intelligence. there are also senior managers, middle managers, and operational managers, as well as rank and file personnel, who make decisions at various levels within a company. Finally, there are four stages to the decision-making process: intelligence, design, choice, and implementation.

Based on this chapter, I learned about enhancing decision making. This chapter discuss about the information systems that support decision making in a firm and the value to improved decision making in an organization. The types of decision being made at the different levels within an organization are senior manager, middle managers and operational manager, rank and file employees. Lastly, the process if decision making as a series have four stages which is intelligence, design, choice and implementation.

From the lecture video, I’ve learned about information systems will assist in improving the business for leader to make decisions and the manager itself need to play their roles. For example, by implementing good systems, decide to make the best decision and by relying information system in technologies increased productivity to business. Other than that, business intelligence and analytics are needed for manager to make accurate decisions in order to produce input and output to organisations. By using business intelligence, its functionality will help in improving business and be monitored the productivity. based on the video lecture, I have learn how decision making with information systems. The Senior manager, Middle Manager, operational manager have their own roles to do their work and every of them need to make a decision for their business because all of them have their own different types of decision and information requirements. Then, it have 4 stages to make a decision process which are intelligence, design, choice & implementation of the decision. So only the managers can make a decision based on the planning, organizing, coordinating, deciding and controlling. After that, BPM can improve the business & can do it by the software. So, the conclusion is manager need to make a decision and supported by IT system to make it strong and accurate decisions for their business...
