Just look around you! We are surrounded by so many interesting objects. We see how they look on the outside but we never normally look inside. The meteorite that I got came from Argentina in the area of Campo del Clelo which is about 500 miles north-northwest of Buenos Aires. It hit the earth around 4 to 6, 000 years ago & may have weighed 50 tons before it hit the earth. (There's 2, 000 lbs. in ONE TON ! I like the way it smells too.
The Campo del Cielo Meteorite is what they call it and is composed mostly of some iron and nickel. It is a dark silver color and mine weighs 4 C. It comes with a certificate of authentticity.

I got a small meteorite that comes with a nice bag inside a pretty wooden box, looks like a treasure box. They also include a small plastic box if you want to display it that way.
