Archival footage shot by Otto Wolf, a Swiss filmmaker, while visiting Europe in 1961.

It contains stock footage of Berlin a few weeks before the wall was built. West Berlin: traffic in front of the Tiergarten, the Victory Column, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and Kurfürstendamm, the Telefunken-Hochhaus, Charlottenburg Palace, the Brandenburg Gate. East Berlin: the Neue Wache (New Guard), Alte Bibliothek of the Humboldt University in Bebelplatz, the cathedral (Berliner Dom), Rotes Rathaus, Frankfurter Tor, Karl-Marx-Allee, Unter Den Linden, St. Mary's Church, and more.
