Watching this you realise how well man c run their team. The theme of the video is "they've got this covered".

Doku & Savio is a cheat code. City was linked with Musiala & Kimmich. Wright & Susoho have been OKAY in the DM role. Bobb has been excellent in preseason.

They don’t need a RW now bc Oscar Bobb has taken his game to another level, he looks absolutely deadly at the moment and links well with Haaland

I think people haven't seen how good bobb in this pre season...his insane honestly the only weakness for me in this city team is a RB/CB maybe someone to sit bench for rodri and thats it

unless anyone sold,
there is no sensible transfer?? City have the youths setup already!!??

I don't think an 8 or 10 will be signed, but I am really excited for Olmo.

And if City were to spend big on one player, Joshua Kimmich is the best option.
He can take Rodri and Walker's roles, has played under Guardiola and have 3 senior players for 2 positions seems like the best long-term plan for everyone.

Frimpong can improve of Walker and build more muscles to become a absolute beast at his position, Wirtz is see him as a “kdb’s replacement” in 2025

You say that Man City have got Rodri covered, but when Rodri doesn't play their win percentage drops from 80% to 55%. That's mad. I agree you can't just go sign Locatelli or Zubamendi if they're going to sit on the bench, but in the old days Tifo would have looked at players who fit the right profile from less-fancied leagues, or up-and-coming players who might grow into that role.

Sensible Transfers used to be one of my favourite series, because it told me about players who I'd never heard of, or who were surprising picks but fit the profile when you look at them closely. That feels like its been lost since becoming part of The Athletic.

Would love to see an episode on Ipswich Town! Positions needed would be LW inside forward, LCM box-to-box and a rounded Striker.

So weird as a City fan of the 1990s to hear the words "sensible" and Man City in the same paragraph. 😅 🔵💙

Glad Rico got a mention. Really want to see him get more time this season

It's crazy during Rodri early days at City Pep actually prefer aging Fernandinho over Rodri and now Rodri is the best DM in the world

This should be renamed more like what everyone knows transfers

I reaaly don't think we should sign anyone. A dm would be nice for Rodri to rest but apart from that, let the academy shine. Watching Bobb play gives me the chills, haven't seen a city player move like that in a long time. McAttee is more than capable of slotting in during a midseason crisis if ALvarez departs and Foden and KDB are occupied elsewhere. WIngers after Savio Doku and Grealish and Bobb are enough. Maybe if Cancelo stays then fullbacks are also covered.

Geertruida would be an option in RB if Pep did not think Lewis was ready yet.

City bringing in Savinho is better than Arsenal bringing in Calafiori until Arsenal bring in a lethal game winner City are taking it again
