Honestly, the amount she took was not that important in comparison to what she paid

I mean they got like 95% of their groceries for free. I would be completely fine with her taking what she did.

For those who dont know this show is called The Middle

The women who paid for the groceries, Frankie, is a mother with a family that is poor. So i dont blame her for whr she did. She paid for it, so why not

Their attitude is how you know they didnt need the help paying for groceries. People living paycheck to paycheck would be ecstatic and grateful. They wouldnt have an issue with the person taking 4 items because they now have hundreds of dollars available that they wouldnt have otherwise had.

I been there, I seen a family standing onside of an hwy, the day before thanksgiving, with a sign saying that they need food, so I offer to buy their groceries and then end up spending hundreds of dollars on them, but here is the kicker, they putt their groceries in the trunk of their Mercedes. This type of behavior putts a bad taste in your heart for helping anyone else.

Okay I would NEVER let anyone pay a cart full of groceries like that I would feel SOO BAD

I feel like they were just being on grateful. She only took a few items and paid for everything so I think it was very gracious of her.

Well you'd think after the husband rolled in with the full cart after agreeing, the couple would double check she is ok with it, after seeing what they where actually buying. And on the other hand I think explaining you didn't expect the ful cart. I personally don't think their is shame at that point but she's willing to put some money (what she could actually afford) towards their bill. But I guess all comedy value would be gone if they did things sensibly and with honestly.

Nah cause if someone offered to pay for my groceries not knowing that my husband or wife was coming with wayyy more, I would’ve told them “hey this isn’t all that I’m getting, there’s more.” Instead of just going along with it knowing it’s gonna be expensive.

Fair enough. I know some people who order the most expensive item on the menu when you take them out to dinner. I only make that mistake once.

Nah, that’s very fair. She only took a few of their groceries, and they didn’t pay a dime.
