Every now and then we get reminded that Luffy truly plays by pirate rules. He sees ambushes, stealing, hostages etc as fair play and has no complaints when its done to him nor issues with doing so himself. We just tend to forget because he's so goofy and likes to charge in headfirst

this honestly pissed me off. For someone who would get angry if someone touch's his treasured straw hat he just took this man's sword without even listening for what luffy knew that was that man's treasure.

Edit: I guess I should make it clear, I am not saying its weird for a pirate to do this, I find it weird that luffy did it. It seemed out of character. This is also a luffy who knows how much zoro's sword means to him. It just seemed wrong that he didn't ask what it was first.
