Hi, im a chilenian Archaeologist, the nazca line were made for a human hunter-gatherer group, is not a mistery at all in the latin american archaeology knowlege.
Also, the first mummys in the world were the Chinchorro Mummys (momias Chinchorro) in the north of Chile. The process in mummys in latin america are SO diferent in comparation with the process in egipt (a whole diferent culture), and in all the mummys found in chile-bolivia-peru the organs are intact, is not rare, is the way that this cultures manage this process.
There are sooo many fun and interesting facts about nazca, atacama desert, monte verde, etc that are not in the comon knowlege because is just an "latin american studie". If you have any doubt i can recomend to you so many archaeologist who talk about this topics, and belive me, there is proves that the nazca line are made from humans.

I am Peruvian and have studied Peruvian history all my life and I just wanna say that the elongating skulls with boards is not from the pre inca Nazca culture instead it's from the pre inca Paracas culture. These two cultures get often confused but they are quite different.
