Top 10 Best Hard Use Folding Knives Under $60. I gave you the best Hard Use Premium and midrange Folding Knives so now we have the more affordable options. These knives can all handle way more than your average folders. I try to give everyone options no matter how much money you have to spend on a knife. I also try to give a wide variety in each price range. I thought long and hard about my decision and I think these are all very good choices. Been carrying an old RAT 1 for several years. I have Spyderco and Benchmade knives that are much more expensive, but the RAT 1 is in my pocket every day. Better steel makes it even better, but the original is fine.

Great Lineup. The Cold Steel SR1-Lite and the Mini Recon 1 are properly ranked. Both are affordable, widely available and proven work beasts. Dollar for dollar the absolute best units. In my opinion, the Tri-ad lock knives mandate inclusion on any hard use folder list. Thanks for the content. Respect level 126/10 🙏

Man! I love that AirLite. Been wanting one for a while. I managed to get the Dozier in D2 last year for $22, and that's done excellent work for me. I almost never cut anything tougher than thick cardboard, though, so a hard use knife for me is mainly for when I just want to have a beast around. The only knife I have that might qualify but isn't on the list is my Tenacious. Great vid!

My CRKT Raikiri is a beast. It's one if their Field Strip technology knives so it's absolutely perfect for hard use & easy cleaning & maintenance. It used to be around $70 or $80 but it's a lot less, now. I got mine on sale at KC for $33. I believe it hits the $30-$50 range depending on which retailer you shop. It's about a 3.5 wharnie with a hollow grind, I think. It's awesome for carving designs in walking staffs. It is so easy totake apart & clean. No screws or Wiha bits necessary.

I love all 12 of my Cold Steel folding knives! I have 6 Voyagers, 2 Counter Points, both SR1 Lites, Immortal, and a 4max Scout. Great knives all around.

Good all-round list. There are many knives that could make this list but if you're new to the games this list offers up some good reliable options. I use the RAT1 & 2, SR-1 Lite & Air Lite and all are good hard use blades. There are enough differences between them that they cover most of my 'beater' knife needs. In fact I own about 5 x Rat 1 - one in each car and a couple around the house. Just be aware that the SR-1 Lite is a thick chunk of steel so while tough & robust doesn't cut/slice the best. Anyway, sharp blades all.

I'd love to see Cold Steel expand the tuff lite line. A fancy tuff lite with Micarta/G10 and Cruwear or S35VN (or even aus-10a) would rock, as well as a fixed blade with the identical dimensions to the original. The Tuff Lite might be my favorite Cold Steel.

Awesome to see some cold steels on this list. They really are what they are advertised to be and I can hear that mini recon one calling me. I have beat the absolute bejesus out of my civivi praxis. I've had it since they first came out and have just put it through the ringer. It's my weekend around the house/property/garden cut everything knife. There's not much I haven't cut with it.

Good list. Two Sun makes some amazing stuff in that price range. I have several expensive modern folders and my Two Sun TS 129 has possibly the best frame lock action I've ever seen. But the ts129 was around $100 when I got it. Just testifying to there quality.

Great list. I would change the cjrb crag for the cjrb kicker. I think it only comes with d2 but you get a better lock.
