It's disappointing that most of the trailer shows real footage rather than game footage. We can watch the real stuff any time, but this was meant to show off what the game looks like. What they did show looks pretty cool, but it makes me wonder if they're not as confident in the graphics as they keep using footage from TV instead of from the game. I hope I'm wrong there.

Umaga’s attire comes from New Years Revolution 2007. I think the Bloodline showcase will feature matches from several Bloodline members win or lose. The USOs, Roman, Umaga, Solo/New Bloodline and maybe Yokozuna too.

Maybe we’ll even get an Armando Estrada roster addition along with the new Umaga updated model.

I’d prefer an Undertaker showcase (multiple versions of his gimmick, arenas and wrestlers from multiple eras) over a Bloodline showcase (a ton of modern day stuff over and over, several Thunderdome locations, Roman facing the same people over and over again)

With Island coming in I really think this is the beginning of the end for this series. They're going to put almost all their focus into microtransactions for that and MyFaction while completely neglecting all other modes. Guarantee Universe is untouched

What sucks is first of all that they charge for three different versions of the same game but also the fact that they have three different unique cover arts and less than less people by physical copies of the game. They’re not gonna be able to use alternate covers as a way to get people to buy games anymore if there’s not gonna be any physical media much longer.

Actually, I think Undertaker does look different. People have complained about having his aged face on the classic Taker models, but here it looks like modern Taker with a de-aged face. Maybe it's just a bad shot but he looks more like an action figure. Maybe that's the bonus with the Deadman edition. I'd hope there'd be more to it than just Undertaker in action figure mode. As for his alternate attires, most games we only have the modern version, 2000s version, Big Evil and Ministry. He changed his image a lot in the 90s. He debuted with a red mullet, black gloves and grey boot covers, he switched to grey rubber gloves soon after. Then he returned at Summerslam 1994 with purple rubber gloves and boot covers. In 1995, Mabel broke Taker's orbital bone and so he started wearing a mask for a while. Then after Paul Bearer betrayed him, he stopped wearing the hat and coat for his entrances and also got a lot more tattoos. Then at Survivor Series 1996, he had his hair tied back and wore this all leather bat winged attire. That didn't last long, probably because it was harder to wrestle in leather so he switched to the all black attire with the weird shoulder pads (The Phenom). Then Ministry Taker had several different costumes including the one we usually get as well as a version with holes in the top. Then in 2000, he came back as American Badass but still had long hair. Then it was Big Evil. Then he returned as The Deadman but his hair was about Beatle length until he grew it out. After that though, he didn't change much. He went from pants to tights, had a few alternate entrance attires but it was pretty much the same until he got the mohawk, then there was the awkward era of trying to grow his hair out again where he looked like Fraiser Crane. Then finally, there's Boneyard Taker. So that's a lot of Takers that they could choose from for such a special edition. I wouldn't expect all of them, but I'd hope to at least have grey gloves, purple gloves, phenom, ministry, biker with long hair, biker with short hair, WM20, 2000s and modern. They could also include debut Kane, Mankind 96 and Paul Bearer.

Happy that players who care about Showcase like what they get but I'll wait for more Universe News before deciding. They half-assed Universe Mode changes for quite some time now so they better step up.

Matt, did you see they just updated the official web page with more info. MyGM now includes Cross-Brand PPVs. The showcase is officially confirmed to also include matches from the past (Yokozuna, etc). Promos are officially confirmed to be back for Universe
