I like to test the knot for slippage, with fluorocarbon especially, after the first half hitch by giving it a smooth pull. No good going all the way to finishing hitches and find that it slips off. A Rizzuto finish is worth learning also as really help to cinch the knot.

Hi i like the way the knot is made and i do see how it will go through the guids better but what im wondering the fg knot vs the uni to uni knot are there any performance difference and is the extra 6min if experienced in tying it more if not worth it with the risk of unreveling as you mention where uni to uni doesnt im just curious if i should make the change from uni. Keep up the great work i love the content.
