You can almost get a match putting that money into your mortgage if you think about how much money you were saving in interest .

In the first 5 years of your mortgage you will almost do just as well as a 401k and there's no limit to the match.

So you're paying 70% interest in the first 5 years of your mortgage. If you don't believe me go do the math.
