For new networks would only install Cat7. It is not much more expensive than Cat5 or 6. But you can be relaxed. There ys not reason to remove Cat5 or 6 in existing networks. Cable length in residential homes are almost short enough to transmit 1 Gbit. Cat6a would work to 10 Gbit the length is under 50m.

I am running the server on my nginx with your nginx conf and running tests from the same device, my 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi both tops 2.5gigs, even my mobile internet. I thought it would pass through the router so I could see the data throughput but it's acting as loopback. I am using ipv6 connection. On my 2.4ghz laptop I ran tests tops at 70mbps normally as I would expect.

There seems to be a performance bug in version 2.1 . I have a 6th gen 4 core Intel Core i7. and I am always reaching 100% CPU usage whenever download speedtest is being run via WiFi 6. All the while I am maxing out the upload speed with 950mbps+ speeds (with the other laptop connected via the 1gbe port) without the CPU being affected.

Testing local file network transfer, I am getting well over 500mbps which the speedtest isnt getting but is getting the upload speed correctly which is a gigabit speed. Pls. check.
