I’ve owned 2 Bosch DW and going on my third and haven’t had any problems. The first one did good but it is 19 years old. It still works but we need to sell it. Second one is the 300 and it does well so we are placing it in a nice home we own and buying another Bosch SHX78CM5N. They are beautiful and better than any other brand presently.

Each State has what is known as the warranty of merchantability. This means companies products are warrantied beyond the 1 or 2 years written warranty not to exceed 4 years from date of purchase. You need to verify what your State limit of merchantability is. Some States like Utah allow manufacturers to circumvent and void this protected consumer right as long as they put it into writing that they are voiding the State warranty of merchantability while other States do not allow consumer rights to be circumvented and voided. The federal Magnuson Moss warranty Act of 1973 guarantees that consumers have the legal right to maintenance and repair their appliances etc without voiding warranties, with one caveat, manufacturers are allowed to register a product with the FTC as proprietary if they are manufacturing the parts for the item and offer consumers repair services and the parts can not be otherwise obtained or purchased elsewhere.

Looks like my 800. At just 4 years old it started throwing E07 codes which is the zeolite fan. After multiple resets I called Bosch service. 2 weeks later the tech came out found more problems and ordered parts and said he’d be back in another 2 weeks. This repair is gonna cost me over $500. A $1200+ dishwasher that’s just 4 years old giving me this kind of problem at just 4 years old doesn’t live up to Bosch’s reputation. I am NOT happy!😡😡😡

ten years ago when we bought our house it had a broken bosch dishwasher in it.. no tech could figure out what was wrong with the thing.. it got replaced with a maytag thats still going strong. i let it roll down the back stairs lol

I have a series 800, dead as a door nail. This thing shows ZERO signs of life. Bosch website wants a serial number, they have a cute video showing where to look, NO SERIAL NUMBER there. I got a number off the box, INVALID. This is why you can't talk to a live person, face to face people won't abuse someone that has paid 1300 bucks for a nonfunctioning dishwasher.

Bosch does not honor their warranty. I had to pay $550 even with an extended warranty.
