Wow! This could be one of your most important videos to date. It's Hinduism in a nutshell. I've heard about all these things before, but only individually.

Thank you- I agree from my life experience with what the Sankhya say of the Soul and nature. Been thinking it through for about 30+ years now. Always interesting.

There seems to be a lot of overlap between Kashmir Shaivism with its 36 tattvas and Sankhya. Just in order of chronology, Sankhya seems to be the predecessor and it was then refined and elaborated in Kashmir Shaivism, notably in Abhinvagupta's Sritantralokah and Keyuravati's Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.

Nicely explained

Prakriti is intelligent , but not concious
For being aware of herself she needs purush
So she always creates opposite expiriences to tie purush to her
i like to see it as the loveplay of Devi and Siva

So purusha is our consciousness and prakriti is our body. purusha evolves or get into prakriti and ultimately after death returned to its original form of purusha.
By same analogy, brahma is purusha and individual atma is prakriti, and ultimately atma joins brahma or paramatma
