The Vedas: The Oldest Hindu Scriptures

The Vedas are the oldest and most revered scriptures of Hinduism, believed to hold the ultimate truths of the universe. Composed between 1200-200 BCE and introduced to India by the Aryans, they were initially passed down orally, which is why they are called "Shrutis" (meaning "heard"). Westerners will never understand some basic things. As per Indian texts the Vedas in the early yugas were only recited. There was no written text. It is believed that in the beginning of kaliyuga, when human intellect diminished, no one had the power to remember the full Vegas. Hence Vyasa wrote it down. These are all beliefs. We will never know the truth. One thing is for sure. It was in existence before it was written down.

Aryans never introduced vedas to world lol aryans (it’s British created theory to divide India into north and south) and there was no Aryan invasion happened, vedas were heard by rishis of bharat. And it’s not written in Sanskrit, it was heard by shruti and written by languages to preserve it, the vedas belongs to no language.
