Handstands are an integral part of the yoga practice (and are common in other methods such as gymnastics, fitness, CrossFit, and more).
But they’re very challenging and hard to achieve without any previous preparation and a gradual learning process.

This video is a workout made of 8 progression exercises.
Some of the exercises are meant to work on embodying the correct handstand alignment, and some are intended to strengthen the shoulder muscles. Or both :)

Great vid, one thing I would have liked to seen is the forearm/ wrist muscles in action as you are literally gripping the floor when in the handstand

The 2 most common mistake all beginners do are:
1. They try the final position without the proper practice.
2. They "give up" on the arms too easily. They cannot control their arms to remain straight.
