I will be brutally honest. I didn't like the showcase at all.

Spiderman 2 was obviously expected since its coming out this year but apart from that it was a very ordinary showcase. This is supposed to be "phase 2" of PS5???? You dont just go silent for 2 years & give us such an average showcase with absolutely no major first party announcement for 2024 & beyond. This is so so bad we waited so long & they give us this. Forget new announcements, they didn't even show us Wolverine & Rise of the Ronin(something that's already been announced)

And idc what they show at summer games fest. This was THEIR SHOWCASE. They should have shown all the good stuff HERE especially when we are 3 years into the PS5 lifecycle & haven't had a proper showcase since 2021. 70% of these games were multiplatform or VR or Indie. Where are the PS exclusive first party titles? This is a Sony showcase not a PC showcase

After a couple years, I expected way more. No Santa Monica, no Sony Bend, no Bluepoint. There was a lot that got me excited, but who knows when any of it will come out. I did kinda lose it when I saw Dragon's Dogma 2.

honestly I thought it was great, I expected nothing and I got to see a new Marathon game, a teaser for The Final Shape, MGS3 remake, and Spider-Man 2 so I'm satisfied

Definitely did not live up to my expectations. Wondering if Sony’s best days are behind us. I felt like once they started selling “exclusives” to PC the writing was on the wall. Then.. losing Bethesda to Xbox was salt in the wound. This may have been the nail in the coffin.
At least we got Cayde back
