The PlayStation Showcase Was One Of The Most Uneven Events I've Ever Seen

I mostly agree with what you said. Unfortunately there was not much about games beyond 2023 that have been announced, which was a bummer. The best part was what I came for; I’m glad they finally showed Spider-Man 2 content.

My top things were Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, Alan Wake 2, Assassin's Creed Mirage, FNAF Help Wanted 2, Marathon, and obviously, Spiderman 2.
I think that Alan Wake and FNAF filled the void that I needed for Twisted Metal and TloU, and some hope for a Infamous return, maybe those games in the next year (or at Jeoff's show in the TLoU multiplayer case).

Unpopular opinion I thought overall Spiderman 2 looked overall great BUT you can definitely see it needs more time cooking in the oven in terms of textures not looking great all the time etc. But I trust insomniac to make a fantastic job in the end! I wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed to 2024. Also no the last of us factions reveal was disappointing.

I thought this PlayStation Showcase was definitely mild with only a few reveal like that Phantom Blade game with best one being Spider Man 2 overall that my opinion on this

I liked it overall but TLOU factions, DS2, and Stellar Blade absolutely should’ve been there, no twisted metal or horizon online announcements either, TLOU factions and Death Stranding have showed up at Geoff K shows so we could see those at summer game fest, but the others are either too far out or have little reason to be there I guess

I want Sly and Uncharted so badly. I don't play that many video games so almost all of this was meaningless to me. I loved the first Spider Man game (never finished the Morales one - more a not having time than that it wasn't good or anything) so I was really excited about that. And if AC is returning more to its earlier roots in game play style, I may finally get back into it. I've heard such incredible things about Metal Gear, but I've never started one because I really didn't know where to start with it but I'm excited about those being released for PS5. But the rest did very little for me, though I will admit plenty of them looked incredible as far as style or graphics. I just don't see myself having the time to jump into any of them. They really need to bring back Sly and they have to keep doing Uncharted, whatever direction they choose to go with it.

Ac origins, Dragons Dogma and Spiderman 2 were the only ones that got me hyped. MGS snake eater remake is good but i wanted to see some trailer or gameplay

i was hoping for a castlevania reveal and wolverine. and dreaming we get a new superhero sandbox experience, like megatron rainfall, infamous and prototype.
