Hi mate great vlog 👍🏻 I haven't experienced much of the cons much yet if some times it's a bit of a long day but that's ok with me. I am doing very well on my class 1 now my reverse is getting so much better my understanding of a large truck & full loads is spot on and any over thinking about things and worries I had have just disappeared. I am loving every minute of class 1 I have done the ship docks ( trailer drop offs & pick ups ) I have done long drives tight yard's ect getting the trailer inside our warehouse every day is a leaning day I can't get enough 🙂🙂 next week I am going to look at starting a few more vlogs As a new class 1 driver & keep going forward to reach my final goals of Hgv work like carrying plant machinery or massive construction stuff. & Go out tramping 🙂 keep safe mate have a great weekend 👍🏻

At 57 y/o took my licence and 3 years later still the best decision . Cons are small against the pro's . Get paid to listen to music / football . What's not to like!

I remember a time when the government was calling for mandatory psychological assessments for all truck drivers following the ridiculous hgv driver who played out a runaway truck scenario on the M1.
It was of course a hoax played out by a truck driver that was having a mental issue, but it was splashed across the Sun and other papers. His references to his truck being like a; 'Missile', didn't go down too well either.
Says much about the job don't you think ?
