Businesses seek more clarity from Malaysia on phased enforcement of VEP

Firms with businesses on both sides of the Causeway are seeking more clarity from Malaysian authorities on the Vehicle Entry Permit issue. This comes amid relief over last week's announcement that VEP enforcement will come in phases. From tomorrow (1 Oct), vehicles without a VEP may still enter Malaysia, but those without RFID tags will be issued warnings. Charlotte Lim reports.

Stop driving to Malaysia ...issue resolved !. When travelling to Singapore and need to go to Malaysia .. i just fly to KL. Once hired a Car ..but that was a crazy idea luckily nothing undue happened !

Malaysia transport minister is unfriendly towards Singaporen, we don't know which Singaporen driver will get fine 2k per day or jail ??
Singapore foreign minister did not advise Singaporen to drive to Malaysia at these moment.
