Cloud for Europe, session 2b -- Christian Fredrikson (F-Secure, CEO and President)

The Cloud for Europe conference took place on 14 and 15 November 2013 at Fraunhofer Fokus in Berlin. The conference offers exclusive insights into the European public sector cloud market, such as security and privacy issues, national cloud initiatives, the role of cloud computing in the digital service infrastructure, and cloud computing services and market places.
Session 2 discusses the subject of a single European market. The 2nd part is about "European Cloud Data Space without borders". It discusses the following questions: Is it better to have a cloud narrowed down to national borders or how can we better exploit economy of scale: regulate or let it flow? Public sector seems to have location restrictions -- can we demand jurisdiction aware infrastructure to overcome?
