Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. It’s a bank holiday in the England so a slow release week, I have pick ups to show as well as a subscriber mail, I hope you enjoy the video and a big thanks to Phil 4K Baker for the film.

Hi Alan,
Dexter is another tv series I have never watched, it’s one that I have always thought would be my sort of thing but I always heard the end of the old series was not very good which always put me off starting it.
Henry portrait of a serial killer is another arrow edition that has been released with problems with the disc, when will arrow learn to do checks before they release it to the world.
Death on the Nile i still need to see, good to hear you thought it was ok and looks visually good, strange they have started to do thin cases.
Another great sub mail from Phil and one I have never heard of before.

I enjoyed Death on the Nile, the standout for me was the actress from the Sex education tv series, the only one who was not a big name lol. Sean Young was one of my crushes back in the day. My son wants me to watch Dexter as i never got round to watching it first time round. i remember that actor from the Doctor films and he always played the straight one in those films but i have never seen those two films you showed at the beginning, great pickups mate.

Fantastic Blu-ray hunt as always Alan nice to see it's not too busy for a bank holiday, nothing really I want this week maybe Henry but I've heard the Blu-ray transfer isn't very good, so we'll have to see. Well its Monday evening & that means its prime time viewing on Youtube, & its a cup of tea & watch Kermits Ghost"s latest blu ray hunt !
Looks very peaceful in Brighton on Bank Holiday Monday, well as a fan of the "Dexter" tv series the new season is on the wanted list & may get this month, & didn"t like the way it ended in season 8, they could of followed suit & had the release in one white & red as on the previous seasons releases !
That Euro crime Arrow Video set is also on the wanted list also for me, glad you didn"t get "Henry portrait of a serial killer" as its a tough & awkward watch, good it is but you feel dirty watching the movie if you"ve never seen before.

I'm not surprised it was quiet; I wouldn't expect any but 'local food' shops to be open on a religious bank holiday; obviously things have changed over the years. Typically I bought the Black Lagoon 'complete' set without the bonus OVAs that that one has just before it was announced the UK would be getting the 'proper complete' set! Sadly getting the few extra bits separately is expensive since they're OOP I think.
I certainly recognise James Robertson Justice and have seen many of his roles but, weirdly, never knew the actor's name until now... Leslie Phillips seems to appear in a lot of the same movies as him IIRC.
Sadly I missed the Network sale; I'll catch the next one.
Watched the Branagh *Death on the Nile* on 4K this weekend actually, though unlike you, personally I thought it was better then the first Branagh 'Poirot', I agree both were good and have said elsewhere I hope he does more, so your news about a third is very welcome. I would question your comment about not knowing it wasn't made in Egypt slightly as I, and others I've seen online, have said *some* of the greenscreen was quite obvious but I certainly forgave it any minor issues (that I noticed less than some others).
Nice to see scientists have allowed the Brontosaurus to become a dinosaur again (after saying it was a mix up of different ones or something) 😀
Nice work on those Japanese name pronunciations! 😲 - only just started on Studio Ghibli purchases but must watch some.
Awaiting my Dexter. I heard this additional season ending disappointed many (we didn't like the end of S8) but I'm glad to hear you've reconsidered... very confused by some of the cast that are back, for obvious reasons, so am most intrigued as to how this will work 🤔 - did you know BTW that the actor that plays Angel was barely in Season 8 except for rare close-up speaking, and they used his (almost identical looking) *son* for when he was in the background of scenes; I forget why, though.
