Blu-ray Hunt #147 11/04/22 a trip to the spa and then HMV plus some forgotten titles included.

Hi everyone today I take you to a spa for a history lesson and then on up to HMV to see what’s out, then home to talk about the movies I picked up, hope you enjoy the video.

Kirk Douglas was fantastic star the late great fantastic actor 👍 amazing Hollywood star he was also my dad loved his films and Burt Lancaster aswell he was another fantastic actor

Great Video Alan some great pick ups in the market. I had to pick up Adrian Messenger love this movie 5 cameos in the movie great Goldsmith score. Rio Conchos great Western another Goldsmith score which he rerecord with the LSO. Discovery of witches fantastic show ive watched every episode. Really great video loved the feeding of the geese. Keep up the good work my friend.

Mistake made when mentioning the composer of the HMV Premium title Winning, I said Robert Grusin was responsible for the score when in fact the composer was Dave Grusin. I can only apologise for this error 😵‍💫

Hi Sir Alan,
Actually thought i"d seen this latest blu ray hunt, but not so til now, good to see another Paul Newman title on the HMV Premium label, & i have several, but "Winning" i don"t think i"ve ever seen even though it looks familiar, Richard Boone mostly played the villain in great westerns & is a fine actor so "Rio Conchos" is on the wanted list, one i haven"t seen for years.
Bargain for that "Screamers" edition, the Arrow Video window box edition of "Dawn of the dead" still a nice collectors release,

How did you resist talking to the geese? 😂
I find I must have a conversation with all animals I meet.
Lots of nice new pickups. Such a satisfying noise of slotting them into place. The Alligator people? 😂 That’s a new one on me. I wish we had markets and car boot sales here but it’s a rarity.

Great video Alan. Loved the geese, goose at the beginning, so clear and quiet. I need you at our house, honestly as soon as your on the TV the boys are quiet and sit down. Not when I’m in the Tv 😂. I remember watching Winning back in the day and I do think it’s a good one. Glad you picked up Clifford as we thought that was a good one. I pre ordered Scream, I’m sure I gave, will have to trace that one up. Great pick ups. Speak soon.😀👍

Amazing that Kirk Douglas lived to be 103. His wife Anne Buydens lived to be 102 which is amazing as well.

Hi Alan,
Another great bit of history that I always enjoy in your videos.
The green knight I really loved, visually stunning but I know it’s got a split reaction which I totally understand.
The proposition is a great film also, I’m looking forward to giving it another re visit.
Red eye I still need to get the official edition which I will soon.
A discovery of witches I have never seen, so many tv series and so little time.
Great pick ups with lots of classics that I have not seen.
Looks like so great deals for £3. Little voice is a very enjoyable film. Little joe i watched when it came out and still not sure what I think about the film.
