Joel Kinnaman does such a good job on this show, he is very underrated as a actor. I still think is role in Altered Carbon really put him on the map as a good actor in my book. The killing was one of my favorite shows with him also and his co worker of that show.

I really like Hanna the character and how the actress plays her, she seems like a sweet pretty innocent girl but flip the switch and she instantly goes psycho and can kill you with a spoon

Glad Joel Kinnaman is good. He was so kick-ass in Altered Carbon, my favourite show last year.

Great review Austin. Hopefully I can get it finished before the weekend is up. I do like how they dissect the story early and makes it a distinct change from the movie. Hopefully it keeps getting better. Ready for your Beach Bum review...🤔🤔

As soon as this series started to get good, it was over. It took a long time to develop and while I loved episodes 7 and 8, I felt myself fighting the urge to forward the first 6 episodes. Hopefully season two will get it right from go, and hopefully be longer than 8 episodes.

I watched the entire season of HANNA, and I enjoyed it.
It did start off slow, and it rarely progressed quickly.
I found the series to be entertaining, but it didn't blow me away.
My one comment on the show is that it had a thread of sadness all the way thru it.
As the reviewers say; It is dark.
Season #1 does not end in a "cliffhanger", but I would describe it as one chapter ending, and a new chapter beginning.
If there was no season #2, season #1 would stand on its own as a complete story.

Actually that girl related thing was something I really liked. It gave the character depth. Just a killing machine would be boring. The ending was very predictable. I did enjoy it

It was very slow and predictable. They turn Hanna until a little freak and she know stuff a girl loving in the woods shouldn't know. The movie was way better, just the scene of her getting rabbits for breakfast shows more in the movie then 5 mins of her dancing shaking her hair.

I watched the movie Hanna with my brother when it came out in 2011 and then recently again a few months ago, so when I learned they were making a show I wasn’t too excited about it. Seemed like they’re always making a show out of a movie or a movie out of a show, etc.
But yesterday I didn’t really know what to do so I sat down, turned the tv on and gave this a shot. I thought it was great, loved it, especially the anti-lullaby song. Also I think Joel Kinnaman is the coolest even before watching Altered Carbon.

So far I've watched the first 3 episodes. Quickly, , , , so far I'm liking it. I'm surprised u didn't say anything about the technical side of this series. The first episode had heavy "film effect" applied to the video. Episode 2 at times had little to none applied. At first I found it distracting. Then I saw how great the acting is by all the actors. They are totally naked and exposed. It seems very real. Danm they're good. Can't wait to watch the rest 'cause you say it gets better after the first 3 episodes.

I'm going to come back to this... After I have a chance to watch but I'm impressed with the quick turnaround. If it has only been around 8 hours since S1 release (minus early pilot)
