I have been having trouble landing sales interviews even though I have 10 years of healthcare experience (5 years as a BDM or AM). I am exploring other avenues to get my foot in the door. I am interviewing with a large linen and laundry service for healthcare facilities. Would you recommend going this route to gain some sales experience and then applying to another position after 1-2 years? Or would this hold me back do you think? My main concern is the people I would be interacting with for the sales. It may not be the same decision makers that med device sales companies are looking for. Any advice would be amazing!
