If it wasn't for all the vets through out all the years the world would definitely be a different place . Thank you to all the vets and my number one vet my father, till we meet again . 🙏

I'm a veteran with PTSD and Christmas was really rough

I've spent every holiday and birthday alone for 21 years as a disabled veteran with PTSD. I've always had to spend the money (which I do not have) and do the 1200 mile trip to see family if I didn't want to spend them alone. As they refuse to do any traveling to come see me it is a time of year that is convenient for them.

Adrenalectomy is surgery to remove one or both adrenal glands — small glands above each kidney. Your adrenal glands are part of your endocrine system. They affect growth, development, metabolism and sexual function.
High adrenaline levels
People with PTSD have been found to continue to produce high amounts of fight or flight hormones even when there's no danger. It's thought this may be responsible for the numbed emotions and hyperarousal experienced by some people with PTSD.

I think a lot of people are struggling and feeling hopeless, not just vets. It’s only getting worse

Thank you vets for all you’ve done but there are others who suffer from PTSD from trauma which should also be addressed. I’m sorry for the vets who suffer but I’m also sorry for those who developed PTSD from other experiences

4th of july is worst. I got a friend who worked at a mental hospital. When the fireworks started their anxiety levels went through the roof.

When i was a kid firecrackers and bottle rockets were the loudest things we heard in our town.

Now every street has at least one household that spends thousands of dollars a year for their own fireworks show, leaving their neighbors to clean up expended rockets off their roofs and lawns.

People like the holidays, I get it. Not everyone has good memories associated with holidays that most people get into. It becomes difficult when you are trying to isolate yourself for whatever reasons, and people want to get all up in your business to get you to conform with their holiday festivities and demands. They don't understand that they should just stay the fuck away, because they are creating a situation. Especially when part of what triggers you is associated with events like holidays. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk...

Hate crime. Cause insurance companies avoid PTSD claims like you got no rights.

They are part of militaries. Why there is not a mental helth department, to support them and introduce them to civil life. again?

PTSD is a side effect from breaking the Laws of God. Killing in war for no good reason is a crime. PTSD is due to them people who have it have stopped praying to God and asking for God's help and have not asked God to forgive them for there sins off killing another person its one the mean reasons why most due have PTSD and why they commit suicide. IF they asked God to forgive them and for help with there PTSD am sure he most likely would help them.

And while this is going on, and them not getting the support they need. All our government does is spend money overseas and for immigrants. While our vets suffer alone.

I am one of those veterans! But I do appreciate the VA's support.

I would suggest anyone going through mental health issues too look into Stoicism.
