Maria is being bullied by Sydney 100%. Sydney needs to get gone. Plus, Maria is a good choice for Joey—she's calm and assertive, speaks her mind, is direct but polite, stays classy when being confronted, and has just the right amount of fire in her to balance Joey's puppy-dog nature. He needs that in a person. Of all the girls there, I see Joey and Maria as having the best chance for a life-long relationship.

Sydney the blonde made this a issue. It was a non issue. “I’m old too” was Maria attempting to join in on what Madina was saying abt herself. Yes she was invalidating her concerns a bit and shouldn’t have been talking crap at all behind her back but she was mostly uplifting her and calling her hot as a 31 yr old which Sydney omitted. I hope she gets sent home for being messy asf tryna create drama as a snitch

Firstly, I don’t think Maria was age-shaming. Is the fact that Maria was downplaying Madina’s feelings. And while I agree that I do not think Madina’s concern of being 31 y/o is something to be concerned about, I respect her feelings & opinions. It’s not ideal that Maria firstly joked about Madina’s concern and made sacarstic comments, and the way Maria approached Madina to address the issues felt very insincere and belittling. The “Can you explain what I did to offend you?” felt very insincere, and I don’t blame her because I genuinely do think she did not understand Madina. If Sydney felt Maria’s attitude was disrespectful, she should have told Maria directly. But even at the group confrontation, I don’t think Maria understood that is her disrespect towards someone who has a different opinion about the issue is what Sydney has a problem with. To sum, I don’t this has anything to do with ageism, but how would you react if someone feels/thinks different to you? What if you have a hard time seeing things from others POV? Do you downplay their emotions?

There’s no point is being justifying Madina’s feelings because clearly I don’t know her, and that it really doesn’t matter because at the end of the day, is all about respect.

I personally don’t think Medena is wrong or right about feeling the way she feels, if she thinks she’s too old, I validate that. But also Sydney shouldn’t have stepped in like that. It’s not her place. I get she was trying to stand up for her friend, but there’s a time and place. This argument was between Medena and Maria 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maria is a literal queen. Rather than just whispering and gossiping around like the other girls, she solves the problem head on and doesn’t do the he said she said thing. She gets all the info, says her side and explains it, all whilst looking like a goddess and being classy about the whole thing.
