This video doesn't show how to do a remote software update. This video only shows how to check IF there is an update for the car.

I have x7 and it shows last update was 2020.

My engine check light is on, could auto start work with that lights on ?

Done all that, downloaded to phone, uploaded to car but car won't install it. Any idea why please ?
