i tried all of it and none of it works. When i troubleshoot it says "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration." Can somebody help me?

Step by step what worked for me. opened command promot as admin, typed " ipconfig/flushdns", turned off my pc, unplugged my ethernet from my pc and router, left my pc off. Restarted my router and waited for it to be on completely, plugged my ethernet in my pc upstairs, ran back down and moved the spot my ethernet was usually in from slot 1 to slot 3. then turned my pc and got prompted a message about internet from windows and clicked "allow" and it worked from now, I switched from verizon to comcast yesterday and never had an issue with verizon and comcast tried gaslighting me saying it was my pc. Already miss verizon.

funny enough I had IPv6 enabled, I disabled it and that fixed the issue, you could also try disabling then re-enabling your network adapter, hope this helps

im having a problem where my ethernet has no internet, but if i use broadband connection it will work.

That setting was turned on in my PC. Then I turned it off. After doing that, it worked, Thank you..

Well, i spend hours searching for a fix but at the end it was the cable not properly connected, as someone suggested to try and see if the cables are fully connected in another video, i was like no way that fixes it cuz i was pretty sure that everything was connected just fine.Im not saying this will fix the problem for a lot of other people but it is worth giving it a try even if you are sure that everything is connected properly like i thought.In the end sometimes the easiest solutions are the dumbest ones

That literally fixed every issue and updated the files with the proper up configuration and allowed for my Ethernet connection to regain its IP automatically without having to do command prompts and registry edits

What helped the most to fix this issue was downloading the drivers from another pc and putting them on a usb then installing the new drivers onto the pc with connectivity issues

To quickly fix this issue just *turn off firewall on ur computer, reconnect your ethernet then it should work after couple mins then turn on firewall* (if it doesn't work *typing ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew in cmd *ADMIN* should fix your issue*) if this doesn't work then *unplug ur ethernet from ur computer and restart ur wifi box reconnect your ethernet & it 100% should connect* (if not then something is really wrong with ur internet box not your PC but it could be the ethernet driver your using) also check for updates on your computer usually there is drivers you need to install to fix this issue. (other fixes are getting a new ethernet plug, using different slots for your ethernet or pods,

If this doesn't work try updating your windows from any other network like mobile Hotspot then the problem will go away
