How to TIE UP to this DOCK

Let’s talk about lines. In a slip like this, we have no protection between our boat and the boats next to us. All we have is a stern dock and two pilings near the bow.

The dock at the stern holds our two stern lines, and we are going to cross those and put them on the opposite stern cleat from the dock. From the pilings, we will have one line running to the bow and one line running to the mid ship on our vessel. We will have six lines in total, two bow, spring, and stern lines and this will hold you to keep you from touching other boats.
