Thank you for making educational content that is kind and non-shaming. I think shame/avoidance plays an enormous role in dental care or lack there of, shame and self confidence affects quality of life. You are saving lives beyond your work in the mouths.

After looking how much implants and whatnot cost, I have come to realize how big of the business teeth are. Even extractions costs a fortune. So yeah, prevention makes your wallet happy too

PLEASE HELP. I had buildup on my back teeth so i went to a new hygienist. She said that I had early onset gum disease and she needed to go under the gumline. So she went through my whole mouth i was in severe pain the entire time (never experienced to that level at a cleaning). Now for the first time my front bottom row teeth are INCREDIBLY sensitive and have been for the past month since id seen her. When i run my tongue along the back it feels like theyve receded and not come back its been a month. It took almost 2 weeks for all my teeth to stop hurting but this area still does. Should i go back to my regular dentist and inform him or wait for the 3 month check up with the new hygienist?😢 ive never experienced pain like this im in the UK. Im using sensitivity toothpaste but i still wake up in pain. I'm aged 20.
