I find it genuinely satisfying how the death star fired a laser at osu

So it got shot by the Death Star, and instead of being destroyed it actually upgraded. It then proceeded to survive the twitch attack as well. Pretty neat

Fun fact when xqc raided, osu! helped rebuild for the star wars gang! As well as komi-San, pixelspace, touhou, miku, hololive and foxhole!

osu! acted as a defender for a bunch of smaller communities and had many alliances, some from 2017, some new in 2022

I love how GameStop and osu were fighting like their lives depended on it and then Komi appeared holding the osu sign and everyone collectively decided that it was ok to let Komi stay

you guys ever just think there's people sitting at their computers all day just waiting for someone to place a stray pixel onto the logo so they can patch it? I swear any out of place pixels on there get fixed almost immediately lmao

We ended up allied with osu but after the first few raid attempts the mood switched from ‘quick, save osu’ to ‘they’re immortal it’s fine’

I like the fact that they incisively denied that GameStop put their corner on top of OSU logo but they had no problem with Komi

Komi being on too of the logo is my favorite part honestly. Really adds a lot to it for some reason and it's really cute

I actually think the xqc raids were one of the best parts of r/place. They gave opportunities for some of the best moments, like Star Wars recovering completely in about three seconds and all the clown noses, and they also pushed so many groups into alliances that would never have happened otherwise. Plus, a lot of the art he “ruined” just came back stronger, like the Hero and Mari on the Omori art which I was helping build.

Sure he was the ‘villain’, but I think r/place sort of needed a villain, and xqc was a really good one.

It was impressive watching them recover from attack after attack. Everytime I was there I would see random people put stray pixels on the OSU circle but get removed almost instantly. They must have a team of people vigilantly watching over their circle. Also Star Wars' recovery from streamer attacks was amazing too.

Unrelated, but I like that this video documented the battle between Asriel and the German flag until they later came to an agreement on how much space Asriel could take up. Also there's a brief second where you can see me and some friends trying to build a Papyrus next to Asriel but getting drowned by the German flag. Though we later managed to build Papyrus in another location.
