Turn on T9 typing to speed up texting. It'll try to guess the word that you are trying to make. If for whatever reason T9 texting is not possible (it is an option in the phone). You can push space. You don't have to wait.

Hearing someone who just placed their phone on speaker and are transmitting that signal to you to listen to on your phone has never been a good transmission even with the most expensive phones . Listening to your own phone play through speakers is not the same thing as transmitting through air waves to a different phone. Never trust a salesman to tell you the truth.

Just ordered one.
I just want a phone that gets and makes PHONE calls. PERIOD. It's a phone! And not something that weighs a ton and falls out of my pocket, or when it rings and I pick it up a bunch of useless junk comes up on the screen and I can't answer the call. When I wanna look at P@>nH*b or something (like grampa here prolly does), I fire up my laptop which is HDMI'd to my 55" flat panel TV; I get dirty movie quality, theater size in muh own living room. Why squint to see the sexy details?
