Speedway bike vs a dirt track bike comparison. Thanks to north side speedway for letting us ride ride. Although the bikes are a lot different I think dirt track is a great way to get into speedway!

Excellent video! I sure wish speedway was more popular in the States. A childhood friend of mine introduced me to Speedway, and raced himself in Auburn, and Costa Mesa, CA. I spent alot of time helping him at home, and eventually worked my way into the pits at a handful of races.

10 seconds difference to me is plenty different. Speedway bike is specifically made for these small manicured d.g. dirt tracks. Flat trackers prefer larger tracks with long straights, preferably 1/2 - 1 mile.

I would love to ride a Speedway bike, not so popular in the US. In the 70's I used to dream of speedway spending hours going in circles around our barn on my Yamaha GT-80.

Speedway is smaller fast and dangerous.need lots of control here.flat track more open but has more speed on big tracks can get crazy too.alwas loved both types of these dirt track races.

Obviously two different but similar disciplines. Woul be cool to have a series where speedway riders and flat trackers competed on both types of bike on their respective types of track.

Low center of gravity is the key small tight bike is gonna have the best of all
