i remember when nico had an engine failure in italy 2015, and nobody gave a shit, and when he was leading the russan grand prix 2015 and he had to retire for some really stupid reason, , i don´t remember why, and still nobody gave a shit about that, oh but wait, hamilton has an engine failure in malasya 2016 and everybody is like : "OHH NOOOOH, MERCEDEZ " he doesn´t deserve that title", "he is a pussy for retiring". grow up people, is formula 1, anything can hapend, and if somebody wins the title is becouse wether if you like it or not, he deserves it.

Even though I absolutely loathed him during the entire season (You can guess who I'm supporting by that statement lol) but I can't help but feeling happy about him when he crossed the line in Abu Dhabi as a world champion. His PR robot attitude just instantly gone, he said "we did it" to his wife like it was a team effort. And then he posted that video where his father trained him on karting for the first time on Twitter, suffice to say that there was some tears during that night.
