we know that the Bracken is a hunter
but the horse keeper
actually doesn't need to eat anything to survive
it doesn't need to kill us
it just puts us in his mouth out of curiosity
as its intelligence is thought to be
that of a human child 5 to 6 years old

is that the bracken is actually really intelligent
which would explain why it knows to go for our next

it just falls over and decays
