Seeing that bottom dealing there at the end there reminded me of one evening at my local casino. I was sitting 1-2NL, I'm in seat #1 on the small blind, and I get dealt pocket 10's. The action starts with seat #3, the big stack and also the most aggressive player at the table. While he's mulling over what to bet, the kid in seat #8 stands up and starts moving around like he's got ants in his pants. Earlier in the evening this kid had advertised that he couldn't wait to get pocket aces so that he could shove all in. So right away it was obvious to me that he finally got his pocket aces. Meanwhile seat #3 comes in with a hefty sized raise. Seat #4 then comes over the top with a huge re-raise. Now the kid in seat #8 is moving around like his pants are on fire! Seats 5-7 all fold. Sure enough, the kid in seat #8 snap shoves. Seat #9 folds so it's back to me. I fold my pocket 10's. The big blind also folds, but as he folds he flashes his cards to me showing me that he had pocket Jacks! Seat #3 goes all-in and seat #4 goes all in. They table the cards. Seat #3 has pocket Queens, seat #4 has pocket Kings, and sure enough, seat #8 has the aces. A queen comes on the flop, with blanks on the turn and river. Seat #3 with the pocket queens takes down what had to be the 1-2 pot of the month! While watching all of this go down I was astonished to see that not only were all top-5 pocket pairs dealt on the same hand, but that they were also dealt in ascending order around the table! I guess when you play poker long enough you see it all!

Great to see you putting out content again. Something to tide me over until million dollar mechanics comes out. Thanks

Got to tell you - you are one hell of a SOB card dealer. I am never playing cards with you again - more to the point, I wouldn't play poker if you were sitting less than ten yards away from the table. Man you are brilliant - to put it mildly.. Great stuff!! keep it coming..

That's incredible. Just happened by here because the video was recommended to me after looking for clips from Rounders...

Damn nice video. Even though I find it quite fascinating that this can be done to perfection ( if not cut card is used ), I would never cheat like that in a card game, but its so cool to being able to do. Btw. the music when you deal the last one, was genious :) What jazz track is that??

That was a cool video. Nice bottom deal there at the end! I actually never saw Rounders so I'm going to have to give it a look. 👍🤓👍

Great vid, nice to actually see the mechanics of the dealing. On that first Rounders scene, you cut off an important part. As Mike McD comes into the cardroom Worm shuffles and shows the A of spades on the bottom of the deck. He deals that card to Mike and basically the cheating begins.

Thank you, excellent video. If I learned anything from watching, I learned never to play cards with Houston Curtis.

That shuffling you demonstrated with the two Aces was more like watching a magic trick to me. 7:45 was INSANE !!! I don't know how to play Poker, although ROUNDERS made me want to learn in the 90's, but I never did. After seeing you do that magic trick at the end, I feel I have no business playing because I'd be the sucker. That was insanely cool. I don't even know how to shuffle a deck. I've been playing bass guitar for 40 years, and I get that, so I'd imagine it took you decades to learn your craft, as well.

You sir are definitely not invited to our home game. With that being said your amazing. I wish your talent was useful in a “legal” way but still it’s amazing.

I only saw a slight hesitation as the 1st 7 came out in the last hand, and that was only because I was looking for it. Great tips and information.

Important Note to Card manipulators: Hi Friends, I know I don't need to tell most of you this, so please don't take offense. I recently had to delete a post that shared the method I used to deal all quads at the end of the video. Unless I am giving a specific tutorial on a specific move, please do not reveal secrets to the public. Some of the younger guys tend to do this to try and show they "weren't fooled." If you want to post that you know how a move was done, please do so. Just refrain from sharing a method if it's not part of a particular tutorial. I would also like to note that this particular video series is specifically designed to supplement the column I write for Card Player Magazine titled, TRUE TALES FROM A HOLLYWOOD POKER HUSTLER and meant for poker players to learn how to protect themselves from cheating. In most cases the audience for this video series doesn't necessarily have a desire to actually learn the move, but only a desire to understand what the move is and be able to spot it. So...in short..for all of the magicians out there, remember to follow the magicians code in order to protect the art form.
