Thank you for this new song and lovely video. I had a double mastectomy last October after a follow up mammogram and biopsy. Between diagnosis and surgery was only 10 days. My lymph nodes were clear so I was surgically cured. So many emotions of joy, blessing, and some guilt for an easy journey. I chose not to have reconstruction. God provided so many nudges of His love before and after surgery that I was able to share with my story. Thank you again for this song and an opportunity for me to share and heal a bit emotionally. 💗

Ms. JJ, I have so much to live for. I’m married to my forever military officer boyfriend for 35 years, we have three amazing daughters who are married to three incredible men. We are the proud grands to four fantastic grandsons. We belong to a community of believers who support and surround us with love.
I’m a recent breast cancer patient who had a mastectomy on 2/8. Before going into surgery, your song “You already know” gave me comfort and now this, this song is such a blessing, too. My husband has taken such good care of me and when I shared this song with him, he said, “this is love.”

This is the only song my 7 month old granddaughter will go to sleep to. I came home from babysitting last night and looked it up and found this. I actually couldn’t watch it all the way through the first time because I was crying so hard. I believe I have a good marriage after 35 years, but this makes me want to be an better wife. Beautiful!

I never wait until early AM to listen to new songs (usually listen AT midnight), but when I saw the title of this one, I just had an inkling it was going to be another instance where I’m convinced you have my journal tapped, because you always release the exact right message for the very specific thing I’m going through. And once I read your post caption about the story and message of the song and video, I knew it was on I wanted to react to on-camera for the first time.

THANKFULLY I was able to record that today (it was HARD forcing myself to wait until today to listen!), but I am SO glad I waited, because not only are the song, message, and video all poignantly beautiful, and so powerful.

AND, as someone who’s been married for 12+ years and whose husband has done so many of the things in this video for me as he is the living embodiment of “in sickness and in health” (sitting with me in the hospital, helping me with showers, carrying me, etc), this just hits hard on such a soul level.

Also, I’ve been stuck in my eating disorder recovery for quite some time (not to mention chronic illnesses), and this song and video came at a time when I’m REALLY trying to lean in and do it for the person who does so much for me, trusting they the process will end up helping me, too. And your song/video helped me out things into wired I’ve not been able to before, NF helped me access hope…a rare commodity around here.💕

I also deal with a lot of grief over not being a. Mother (34, and very I’ll, and no idea if I’ll ever be able to do the thing I want most), but even the beautiful birth scenes inspired hope.
