My oldest son got married on Saturday, and this is the song I danced to with him for our mother/son dance. It was absolutely perfect. My son had asked me for suggestions for a song for us to dance to, because he was having a hard time finding one he liked. I set out looking for one and somehow stumbled upon this one. He and my daughter-in-law had asked me to do the prayer before dinner at their wedding, and the Lord had told me weeks ago to pray His blessing over them, so I already knew I was going to pray "The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn His face toward you, and give you peace." So, when I listened to this song and heard that blessing in it, I knew right away it was the perfect song for us to dance to. Thank you for making such beautiful music. No matter how old our children get, we never stop seeing them as our babies. Now I know for sure that it wasn't accidental, it was exactly the song God intended for us to dance to. I am so thrilled to see there is a book to go along with this song too. You can be sure it will be a gift for my first grandchild, whenever they have him or her.💗

This song made me cry! I realized that the Lord gave me a daughter to bring healing to my heart, and to heal the brokenness from years of having a strained relationship with my own mother. Now I am celebrating her 1st Birthday in a few months, and I thank God for blessing me and enabling me to be a mother.

I miss my mum. It's been almost 10 years, but it never gets easier. There is nothing like a mother's love. The day before she died, I wasn't well, but, despite her own illness, her last words to me were "are you feeling better?", and when I said yes, she said "good", and never spoke again.

I'll soon be 65, but I'm not ashamed to write that this song has made me cry, not for sorrow, but for the memories that i have of my mother's love.
