There's nothing more infuriating after a long export to find large areas of pixelation in your video - this issue gives no hint of raising it's head until the export process is complete, find out in this video the steps to take for avoiding this scenario and have arguably a better quality video file as the outcome!

Absolutely GUTTED! This is the ONLY video or thing anywhere online that I have found regarding this issue that I have had for years! I tried your advice and it didn't work, In fact it had more examples of this randomly placed pixilation error lasting a second than the h.264 codec I used originally. PLEASE since we're on the same wavelength with this problem try and get to the bottom of it for me as I'm done for anymore ideas to try! Thanks

Mate, not only did you help me solve a problem that was dogging me for months (pixelated fade-in from black at the start of my vids) but my export times have dropped from around 30 minutes down to less than ten. Subscribed. THANK YOU

Unfortunately this didn't do the trick, but I appreciate the video and helping fellow editors out 🙏 Subscribing. Trying the mercury software only now. Thanks again for the help!

Woah, this really helped a lot. I feel like I've used that compression before but it wasn't my go to. That solved our exports. Thanks!

What if it's pixelated on the edit screen? For some reason, the newest version of photoshop is pixelating my videos when I use the razor tool. Have you ever seen that happen before?

The answer is to use the H265 codec instead of the H264 one - however I have had some problems in the past with H265 playing at all on many machines - will let you know

This still hasn’t helped me. I’ve tried everything and no matter what i do my exports still glitch! Can someone please help me? I’ve tried software encoding, HEVC, lower resolution and every step out there on the internet, but I still get the same old screen flickering.
