So basically if I sleep for 24 hours straight beforehand so I can manage the 48 hours…

It took me 8 hrs without experience and I'm still watching tutorials. There were a lot of breaks tho.

Took me 15h over 2 days, i verified every step and every part, not only building but learning every detail about it, also learnt to flash bios and manage corsair fan with different of their weird component. Remember, don't just build mindlessly, learn and habe fun

Took me 2h to build mine, but i had to install 10 fans and the aio water cooler, which is kinda big as fuck, aside from that, it's really fast

Not counting the 3-5 weeks waiting for dozens of parts(and painting parts)

Good timing, i actually did my first pc assembly like 3 weeks ago? It took my 18 hours to do the whole thing. it was filled with a lot of watching tutorials and finding screws that i dropped lol.

As a pc builder, simple build will be around 35-45 min, more complex aio build with more argb fan about 1-1.5
my records was about 17 min because few customer was waiting and need it asap
Of couse software is not counted

Took me a total of 8 hours split across 2 days. 6 building, 2 installing programs and setting up stuff like BIOS. Tiring, but worth it imo

I’ve only built a few computers from top to bottom, and the last one I did (before just last week) was about 6+ years ago and I did it over the course of 2 days, a few hours at a time since I was building it with my little brother and showing him how it isn’t as complicated as it seems if you take your time.

But, I did just build one last week along with a custom keyboard, took me 2 days to finish the pc and keyboard with a few hours spent building on each day. But it came out great, I spent a lot of time doing good and proper cable management this time, no issues on post or anything, and it’s running like a champ. I definitely could’ve done it faster but I wasn’t in a rush so I took my time and was looking up stuff along the way to make sure I wasn’t messing anything up. When I built my last pc I ordered parts from a bunch of different sites to get the best prices possible, waited for all the parts to be delivered, then built it all in one day which took me about 8 hours total, not including the handful of breaks I took. I asp had some issues that I had to sort through once it came time for the first boot up, and I barely did any cable management at all.

So I did it in less time total this time around, but I split it over two days, and I had no issues, built a keyboard as well, and proper cable management! So I’d say that’s a decent improvement, and again this only the 4 or 5th pc I’ve built over the last 12 years.

I built my first pc a little over a year ago. Specs -
Intel Core i5 12400
Asus Dual Gtx 1650 OC
Corsair LPX 8gbx2 CL17 3600 mhz
MSI Spatium M460
Thermaltake S200 TG ARGB
MSI A750GL Power Supply
Deepcool AK400
Gigabyte B660 Aorus Elite AX DDR4 rev 1.0
(It took me approximately 4 hours to build, 1 hour was spent trying to find the screws to fix the motherboard into the case)

For those wondering how much it takes to build one with zero experience and near zero electronic knowledge. I built one myself 4 months ago, completely from scratch and it took me 4 hours to understand every part I bought, and 6 hours to build it, total 10 hours. Important note here, I didn’t make a single mistake and the PC Is still running to this day.

For me personally it took around 5 hours for my first physical build. Debuggimg took a bit more time, but that was no biggie

Building a PC drinking an Old fashion sounds like a vibe.

If you only do it every 2.5-5 years when you upgrade, like me, it’ll take around 2-3 hours because you’ll be double & triple checking your work to make sure you did it right & didn’t forget something, plus you’ll be spending the first 30-60 minutes setting everything up so it’s at hand when you get to building.

I just built my PC a couple days ago and it took me about 7 hours. Granted, I've watched pc building vids for weeks beforehand and it still took me this long. There is a big difference between watching and building.
