I gotta agree with you on most of this. The only thing I'd add is that this is likely due to miscommunication on many levels. The last couple years have been really challenging and there's a lot of growing pains with work moving further away from traditional office structures. Really hope there's an amicable end to the lawsuit. I think that would be best for the reputations of both parties.

Certainly explains how she could be distracted enough to let her department go South… I’m amazed there wasn’t a mandatory arbitration clause in her contract, though the omission of which gives her an opportunity to file a public lawsuit

So she was a high level producer at marvel getting paid a ton of money to not do her job and instead spend her time working on her “passion project” behind the scenes. This actually explains a decent amount about what has been going on with marvel.
