I realize that many people don't know what Shogi is, but the board and flipping the pieces makes this a Shogi variant, not a Chess variant. People who love Duke and want a small, easy carry, easy teach variant that plays in about 5-10 minutes should check out Animal Shogi (Doubutsu Shogi). I plays just like a smaller version of Duke.

I'm happy you brought Sam in on this one due to his love for vikings. I wonder if people will be disappointed if they buy this off the shelf without watching a review first based solely on cover art.

If basing it on the show, I would've called the game 'Earl' (Yes, I know they're the same thing). And I was surprised to not see a Shield Maiden piece in the video!

I don't own it (didn't know it existed) but I own the Duke plus expansions.  I agree with Tom, I'm all in for this one.  Good show.
