Hershel is such a sweet kid, I see a lot of Glens traits in him his kindness his quick thinking and intelligence. The writers did good.

I love how soft spoken Negan is after getting his throat cut. He’s such an amazing actor.

I love how much of a straight shooter Negan is. Like kid or not, he’s gonna let them know what’s up and he accepts whatever fate is coming; phenomenal character

I like how much Negan has changed. He went from deadly villain to soft-spoken hero.

You can hear in his voice how much he regrets killing Glenn and everything else he had done.

I love how this is consistent in Negan's personality. He has always told children the hard truth. He lied to adults all the time. But he always told the truth to Carl, Judith and now Heshel.

Negan has changed so much from a murderer to a hero. People may not trust him. Glenn was killed by negan. Yet, he was sad for what he did to Glenn. Rick let Negan live and now he has changed

His has to be the most flip ended don't know if he should die or thank him for being there now.

A little bit of Glenn popping up in Hershel there. Him putting all the dots together and then acting out in anger when someone does something to someone close to him. Glenn was temperamental at times when it involved people he cared about. Hershel may not have known his dad but just for the fact that of what he did and he put his mom into so much heart break is enough for Hershel.

The moment Hershel mentioned a ‘bad man’ killed his dad and said “It was you, wasn’t it?”.

Negan got a flashback of hitting Glenn on the forehead and made fun of him when his face was disfigured, and starts smashing Glenn’s head into pieces of eyeballs and brain meat and bone with his barbed bat.

Rick definitely knew Negan would suffer more by letting him live.

Just imagine meeting the son of a man whom you brutally butchered in front of the son’s mom.

Dam you’d feel like the worst in the world. You could see the pure regret in Negan’s eyes when Hershel said that.

He knows and understands that he’ll never be forgiven for his actions, but he at least wants to try to do his best to make things right.

If we were Hershel (Jr.), hearing this news would be heartbreaking. I can’t imagine if he found out how he killed Glenn.

His eyes are so sad and regretful. He had no problem dying to this kid's hands. I'm sure he didn't just fire off because he could see that even as a little kid.
