Vlog: IVF: How Many Follicles!?😳😱 Here is our IVF cycle Day 5 & 7! We check to see how many follicles we have!!! AND I ask nurses at both visits when they think our ER will be.

Our videos are a bit out of order (sorry!) but I am finally getting our IVF footage up in hopes that it helps someone else. It took me a long time to look at the footage and to heal from the fail. So....just know I am doing my best. **Video from June 2018**

You are such a strong person for doing this without your husband by your side during the whole thing. Thank you for sharing your difficult journey! I know if must be so difficult to not have the results you want and to still have that ache in your heart or a child. We are doing our first round of IVF after 4 failed IUI's and I'm on day 9 of IVF meds. My right ovary is doing nothing, just 4 small ones under 10mm. My left is the only one doing anything. As of right now we have 5 total :-( I have low AMH so I was not expecting much, but it's discouraging to not have more for them to work with. Hoping and trusting that this cycle will work. God is with me and in this now matter what. Praying or your continued journey!

I got pregnant after only have 3 semi good follicles. I know it’s stressful and frustrating when your body isn’t doing what you feel it should be doing. So glad you aren’t giving up!

You have a ton of follicles! When I did IUIs, my left ovary was more active. But when I started IVF, suddenly my right was more active and my left became dormant! Not to mention, I can only produce 1 follicle per cycle! ONE! Its miserable only having 1 and seeing other women produce seven or a dozen follicles. But after 3 cycles, I have 1 pgs normal embryo and will transfer next month. Hoping for the best! So dont worry! I have a good feeling it will work out for you guys! ❤️🥰

Same boat as you hun, I had 1 side that seemed dead during the follicle growth. Ended up with 9 retrieved! Of those we had 3 embryos, and our little girl is sitting here from our second embryo (the fresh transfer failed because my body wasn't ready after all I'd been through for IVF). We have a 6-day embryo on freeze. Your numbers are great hun, you have an awesome shot here! <3

Carissa, from my understanding your follicle count does not change. The part that changes is the size of the follicles (bigger=better and more mature eggs). We are starting IVF in February, so I have been watching every video and reading everything I can.

Keep your eye on the prize. Don't compare yourself to others. You had 6 on the left that is great.... you only need 1! Be thankful for 6. Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm on my 12th cycle, so I know where you're coming from. Be happy in every little success that keep the faith and remember to keep positive !!
